Each design is a relief sculpture that transforms at night into a fine detailed image bathed in light. An original is first hand carved in wax, often taking days to complete. When the carving is finished, a mold is created. Into this mold a special blend of resins bonded with minerals are then hand cast to create the finished product. This material is safe, durable, and can be used throughout the home.

Greg Dixon, an Artist and Craftsman, has been interested in art all of his life. He has traveled extensively throughout the world, acquiring ideas that have contributed to his creative talents. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1979. Since then he has been a Professional Artist working in many mediums, including ceramics, painting, jewelry and sculpture. His latest venue is a unique line of illuminated relief sculptures on night-lights.
The look is very classy; reminiscent of porcelain lithophanes of the past, however, new materials are used to finish the designs, making them more durable. To each Greg lends his unique style and artistic touch; truly these lovely lights must be seen to be appreciated.
